How to add Quoli ratings to your Shopify product pages with Instant

Quoli reviews and ratings can be added to any section built in Instant, but one of the most essential places to add social proof in your online store is on your product pages.

Here’s a short step-by-step guide to help you add product ratings to sections built in Instant: 

• Step 1: Go to the product section you’d like to customize inside of Instant (Pro tip: remember to name your section so it is easy to find later!)

  
  

• Step 2: Go to Insert “Element” on the left side panel and hover over “Embed”.

  
  

• Step 3: Drag and drop the “App island” element onto the section in the canvas.

  
  

• Step 4: Click on “Publish” to publish the section to your Shopify theme. 

  
  

• Step 5: Open the Shopify theme customizer.

  
  

• Step 6: Go to your product page template.

  
  

• Step 7: Click on “Add section”. 

  
  

• Step 8: Search for your new section. 

  
  

• Step 9: Add the section to your product page template. 

  
  

• Step 10: Click “Add block” on the left panel. 

  
  

• Step 11: Search for Quoli “Star Rating Widget”. 

  
  

• Step 12: Click on “Star Rating Widget” to add it to your product page.

Will this work for other Quoli review elements? 

Although this example was specific to adding product ratings, this same process will work for adding other Quoli review elements to sections built with Instant, on any page within your Shopify store. 

Just remember to add the App Island element in your Instant section where you’d like the Quoli element to appear, publish the Instant section to Shopify, add the section to your Shopify page, and then select the Quoli widget you’d like to add under “Add block”.
