Social Media Manager
You will be responsible for the daily management and growth of our social media channels, establishing and maintaining communities, and building a User Generated Content Plan.
What you’ll do if you join us
Your job is to increase our brand awareness with an organic content strategy for various channels. You will be responsible for the daily management and growth of our social media channels, establishing and maintaining communities, and building a User Generated Content Plan.
You will brief our creative team on content creation for social media (images, video, and text) and create creative and commercial copy for our content, both online and offline.
You have experience with, and a feel for, creating social content activations such as reels, stories, Tic/Tok's, etc. With which you will create and deploy social media content yourself in addition to ongoing brand campaigns.
You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on social campaigns. Every month you present your analyses and objectives to internal stakeholders, whom you know how to enthuse with your ideas. You manage the social media image bank and ensure it is kept up-to-date. It helps if you have a knack for eCommerce, SaaS, and Tech.
This role is hybrid and based in Amsterdam, reporting to the CMO.
Formulate a social media strategy
Meeting with designers to create social media campaigns
Meet with performance marketers to distribute brand content
Keep the content calendar up-to-date
Build and maintain a community of people interested in (Headless) eCommerce
What we’re looking for
Fluent (written and spoken) in English
3+ years of experience in a similar role
You know what separates good content from average content
You have a proven track record of growing social media metrics
Knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
Up to date on the newest Social Media trends
Experience with the Adobe suite or similar design programs
In your application, include growth numbers of social media channels you have managed.

What is your hiring process?
We will start with an interview to get to know you and see if there is a potential fit. Then you are asked to make a take-home assignment to assess skill-level. Based on that you will be invited for the 2nd interview. Lastly, we will make an offer to whom we feel is the best fit for the role.

We believe in creating 90% of the work in-house. For the occasional 10% we are definitely open to meet people who are great in what they do.
