The role
Instant Commerce is looking for a design-minded, quality obsessed front-end web developer to join our development team. In this role, you'll be working on new features, integrations with 3rd party applications and open source projects to boost developer experience for our customers. With our headquarters in Amsterdam, you will be able to join a hybrid-work-friendly team.
What you’ll do if you join us:
Build modern client-side Javascript applications using React.js
Create new blocks and components for our ever expanding UI system
Collaborate with backend engineers in ensuring technical feasibility
Requirements
Experience developing applications with TypeScript
Portfolio of relevant experience
2+ years experience working as a Frontend engineer
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience working with React
Experience working in an English speaking environment
Experience working with UX/UI/Product designers
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail with a good sense of design

What is your hiring process?
We will start with an interview to get to know you and see if there is a potential fit. Then you are asked to make a take-home assignment to assess skill-level. Based on that you will be invited for the 2nd interview. Lastly, we will make an offer to whom we feel is the best fit for the role.
Can I work remote?
Yes, you can.
Can I freelance with you?
We believe in creating 90% of the work in-house. For the occasional 10% we are definitely open to meet people who are great in what they do.
I am not a European citizen, can you sponsor my visa?
