What you’ll do if you join us

In a fast-growing, dynamic scale-up such as Instant Commerce, new topics, challenges and opportunities arise on a daily basis. The wide scope of domains and responsibilities is one of the USPs of this role. Instant Commerce has a culture of open communication and autonomy at all levels. The Chief of Staff is comfortable with this dynamic set-up and able to bring structure and focus when needed. Overall, the focus lies predominantly on designing the organization for scalability. 

You’ll mainly shape your own working week but it will include:

  • Provide planning, administrative, financial, and operational support to the C-suite

  • Lead the preparation process for various internal, external and Investor meetings

  • Build strong relationships with all departments and provide HR support where needed

  • Assist the HR department with new hires, including documentation and onboarding

  • Improve current processes and optimize organisational procedures

  • Act as an extension of the C-suite in appropriate settings to oversee meetings or entire projects

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution

  • Act as an advisor to the C-suite on both strategic and tactical matters

  • Review and design improvements to organisational structure

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of management consulting or similar field experience of which at least 1 year in a leadership position

  • Strong Excel and Presentation creation skills are a must

  • Concise, persuasive, and authentic communicator both verbally and in written communication

  • High gear operator who doesn’t take no for an answer

  • Superb judgment and integrity, unparalleled confidentiality, and sophistication in all aspects of work

  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives

What is your hiring process?

We will start with an interview to get to know you and see if there is a potential fit. Then you are asked to make a take-home assignment to assess skill-level. Based on that you will be invited for the 2nd interview. Lastly, we will make an offer to whom we feel is the best fit for the role.

Can I work remote?

Yes, but not full-time.

Can I freelance with you?

We believe in creating 90% of the work in-house. For the occasional 10% we are definitely open to meet people who are great in what they do.
